Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using EventUploader (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Organizer responsibilities

• You are responsible for obtaining consent from attendees whose personal data (name, email, image, voice) they upload through your event page.
• You must comply with all applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, local equivalents) when collecting and storing attendee media.
• You must not use the Service to collect media of minors without appropriate guardian consent.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload illegal content, including CSAM or non-consensual material.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or content that exploits system vulnerabilities.
• Infringe intellectual property rights of others.
• Harass, defame, or threaten any person.
• Abuse the infrastructure (denial-of-service, scraping, bypassing limits).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of all content you and your attendees upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

6. Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend your account after a grace period.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, your stored content is removed according to the retention policy in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
